Hello!

I’m Jess (she/her/they/them), an independent digital illustrator and occasional hobby blogger based in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

I love to create art that’s inspired by nature and fantasy worlds with a smidge of environmental storytelling. My favorite subjects to draw are cute animals, made-up creatures and the world that they inhabit.

I’ve been creating digital art and illustrations for over 10 years now, and prefer to sketch traditionally first, and then complete the rest of the painting in the digital sphere. I started with a Wacom Intuos 4 drawing tablet and Adobe Photoshop, but have since transitioned to an iPad Pro and Procreate with a touch of Affinity.

When not drawing, I can be found playing board games, painting miniatures, playing solo TTRPG’s and having fun at my local Pokemon TCG League.

And of course, I have the best cat in the whole world, Scout. He loves food, cuddles and playtime.
